2. Data we process
We process the data you voluntarily provide through the quote request form, WhatsApp, email or phone: full name, company or facility, email address, phone number, services of interest and the content of your message.
While you browse, the systems running the website automatically collect some technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time of access), which are necessary for the operation and security of the site.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Replying to your requests and preparing quotes: legal basis is pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and your consent (Art. 6.1.a).
- Managing any contractual relationship and the related administrative, accounting and tax obligations: Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c GDPR.
- Ensuring the operation and security of the website: the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
4. How and for how long we keep data
Data are processed electronically with appropriate security measures. Requests that do not lead to a contract are kept for as long as needed to handle them and in any case no longer than 24 months. Data relating to contracts are kept for the periods required by civil and tax law (normally 10 years).
5. Recipients and providers
Data may be processed, as data processors, by providers of technical services needed to run the website and handle communications, including:
- Netlify, Inc. – website hosting and receipt of requests sent through the form;
- Proton AG – email service;
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) – only if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp;
- Google – web fonts (Google Fonts) and, only if you click "Show the map", Google Maps.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union; in that case transfers rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR (e.g. adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses). Data are never disclosed or sold to third parties.
6. Cookies
The website does not use profiling cookies, analytics or advertising tools. Only a technical browser storage is used to remember, during your visit, whether you closed the WhatsApp message. External links (Google Maps, WhatsApp, Google Reviews) open on the respective providers' websites, which apply their own policies.
7. Your rights
At any time you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, object to processing and withdraw your consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal (Art. 15-22 GDPR). To exercise your rights, write to amministrazionegeniussrl@proton.me.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) (www.garanteprivacy.it).
8. Providing your data
Providing the data marked as required in the form is necessary to reply to your request; otherwise we will not be able to follow it up.
Genius SRL may update this policy from time to time. Please check it periodically. In case of discrepancies, the Italian version prevails.
